The bride has her own notes, and she will write down her impressions of the wedding dresses\u2014either right then or later, once she gets home and reviews the videos. She will likely comment on the fabric, size, or cut\u2014or, as we at “I Said Yes” like to call them, the “technical details.” <\/p> \n \n
Jot down the emotion in your notes\u2014the emotion you see in the bride. Is she twirling happily in front of the mirror? Does she look confident? Or is she perhaps not entirely thrilled, yet willing to give it some thought? Your notes will likely prove decisive in the end. <\/p> \n \n
3. Don’t be a “sack of potatoes.”<\/h3> \n \n
You are there because the bride trusts you and wants to hear your opinion. Try to be as involved as possible and offer her advice. If you notice she likes a particular style but something about it is missing or superfluous, try to find a similar model that has exactly what she is looking for\u2014or one that lacks that \u201cunnecessary detail.\u201d <\/p>
