You can find inspiration on Pinterest for absolutely everything related to weddings. From decorations, invitations, and guest seating charts to wedding favors and more—Pinterest has it all. So, how can you make the most of this platform? The answer is simple: create boards!

Whenever you come across an interesting post on Pinterest, save it and organize it into folders. For example, your profile could feature folders for “wedding dresses,” “table decorations,” “various signs,” and so on. Sorting items into folders helps keep everything in one place and readily available at all times.

You can use these folders when meeting with your decorator, photographer, and other members of your wedding planning team. For instance, you can find photos of the styles you want, save them in a “must-have photos” folder to show the photographer—or better yet, print them out and hand them over. A “hairstyles” folder can help your hairstylist understand the direction you want to take, while a “makeup” folder can do the same for your makeup artist.

By creating folders, you will make it easier for yourself, but also for the people who help you organize, because they will know exactly what you want. Be careful not to completely copy everything you see on Pinterest. Use it for inspiration, but add a touch of your own personality and personalization.
