My Story
We started planning in the worst possible period, but on the other hand, it turned out great, because otherwise the guide wouldn’t have been created! Since we had more time for planning—as all the dates shifted from 2020 to 2021, forcing us to postpone the wedding to 2022—I decided to create a planner of our own; but once I finally finished it, I felt it was a shame for only us to have it!
I wanted it to be tailored to future brides. I decided to share this product with other couples as well—something that would truly help them, make wedding planning more enjoyable, and serve as a lovely keepsake—but I didn’t want to create a product that would only appeal to me. That’s why I asked friends who got married what were their biggest problems during planning, did they have a planner, what was it like for them, did they miss something or was there something extra, what should be emphasized more, what should be left the most space for…
Through various social media polls—such as Google surveys and Instagram Stories—I gathered a wealth of information regarding the challenges faced by brides currently planning their weddings, and I focused all my efforts on creating a guide to help future brides navigate these issues more easily.
The idea eventually led to a degree. In fact, that entire concept evolved into my thesis; spanning 80 pages, the work involved various analyses and tests to ultimately produce a wedding planning guide fully tailored to future brides.
Precisely because it is the result of extensive research and long-term work, I do not call it a planner but a guide; it literally leads you step by step to a perfectly planned big day. The guide for the maid of honor was created based on a similar approach, involving surveys and interviews with real brides and maids of honor.
